With just six days to explore Turkey, we dedicated one full day to Cappadocia — and it became the highlight of our journey. Having done an extensive research on this magical city, we curated a one-day itinerary that brought together the region’s most iconic sights and unforgettable experiences. Travel from Istanbul to Cappadocia Several daily flights operate from both Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) to two nearby airports in Cappadocia — Nevsehir Kapadokya airport (NAV) and Kayseri Erkilet airport (ASR).
