With just six days to explore Turkey, we dedicated one full day to Cappadocia — and it became the highlight of our journey. Travel from Istanbul to Cappadocia Several daily flights operate from both Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW) to two nearby airports in Cappadocia — Nevsehir Kapadokya airport (NAV) and Kayseri Erkilet airport (ASR). The flight time is approximately 1h15m. Most hotels in Cappadocia offer airport shuttle services at an additional cost. We paid 10 euros per person for a shared transfer arranged by our hotel.
